  • Guyam Island – A tiny, palm-covered island perfect for photos

Tip: Bring reef-safe sunscreen—there’s not much shade on Naked Island!

2. Sugba Lagoon – Paddleboarding & Cliff Jumping

Cost: PHP 1,500-2,000 for a boat (split between your group)

Time Needed: Half-day trip

Tip: Go early in the morning to avoid crowds!

3. Cloud 9 – Siargao’s Most Famous Surf Spot

Cost: PHP 500 for a surf lesson (board rental included)

Time Needed: 1-2 hours

Tip: September-November is peak surf season, but there are beginner waves all year!

4. Maasin River & Bent Palm Tree Swing

  • Rent a motorbike – The best way to explore the island.

  • Book accommodation early – Siargao is popular & places fill up fast!

  • Expect occasional power cuts – Some places rely on generators.

  • I’d avoid expecting WiFi to work well—this is an island for disconnecting!

  • I’d skip some of the touristy beach clubs—they’re overpriced.

  • I’d stay longer than 4 nights—Siargao has so much to explore!

  • I’d visit Magpupungko Rock Pools—they look amazing but need low tide!
